You can tell this guy had his feelings hurt by minorities who didn’t let him speak for them or join their safe-spaces.

Ha, what? You certainly get to define what equality means for other people and of course that means that everyone shouldn’t identify with who they are. Equality means that we should all be grey blobs, genderless, raceless, cultureless….and CELEBRATING DIVERSITY AND DIFFERENCES MEANS THAT YOU ARE NOT EQUAL. No, we’re not all the same and it’d be a worthless world if that was true. Equality means that I shouldn’t be treated like some unworthy thing just because of those differences.

“After something has been an established fact that they exist, and they have the rights, they need to stop flaunting it.” I don’t know what the appeal of the word “flaunt,” is but no oppressed peoples are going around being proud of being oppressed and “flaunting” it. And since when do “they have the rights”? Oppression and racism, sexism, homophobia are not over, mother fucker. Great, you realize that these things exist, but let’s just leave it at the fact that they exist. Nothing else but acknowledgement of oppression needs to be done to combat oppression. Wonderful logic you’ve got there. I don’t even understand how you can really feel satisfied in believing your argument is valid at any point. Oh wait, maybe it’s because you’ve got privilege.
